The Pirris Factory

Located near Ippokration {Ιπποκράτειον} Hospital [The Hospital], this factory was owned by Angkelos {Άγγελος} and Alekos Pirris {Αλέκος Πυρρής}. It was constructed in 1888 and produced undervests.
At exactly the same spot, the Alvertis-Dimopoulos {Αλβέρτης-Δημόπουλος} construction company, built an impressive edifice complex, known as The Athens Tower {O Pirgos Ton Athinon ~ Ο Πύργος Τών Αθηνών}.
