Back to where you came from. The same text in Greek.

Patras {Πάτραι} was the first Greek city which obtained electric power and it acquired electric trams earlier than any other, in 1902.

The total length of the two tram lines was 2.8 miles.

The first line, started from Ities {Ιτιές}, run along the Dimeon {Δυμαίων} coastline, Agiou Andreou {Αγίου Ανδρέου} Street and terminated at the Anglican Church.

The second line, passed through Georgiou {Γεωργίου} Square, Korinthou {Κορίνθου}, D. Gounari {Δ. Γούναρη}, Agiou Georgiou {Αγίου Γεωργίου}, Paleon Patron Germanou {Παλαιών Πατρών Γερμανού} and Agias Lavras {Αγίας Λαύρας} Streets and terminated at Agios Athanasios {Άγιος Αθανάσιος}, thus serving the inhabitants of the Ano Poli {(Άνω Πόλη) = upper city}.

Its operation was discontinued after the First World War, for unclear reasons.
