Sirakouson
{Συρακουσών}. This street bears the name of the Sicilian port of Syracuse [Plato] which was founded in antiquity, 734 B.C., by the Corinthians.
During the 5th century B.C. it became the main town of Sicily. Syracuse was beseiged in 213-212 B.C. and captured by the Romans. The street comes under the Municipality of Athens and runs from Tralleon {Τράλλεων} street, near Agiou Andreou {Αγίου Ανδρέου} square, to Demirdesiou {Δεμιρδεσίου} street in the Municipality of New Ionia {Νέα Ιωνία}.
