The official flag of the Administration of Samos {Σάμος} [Images] during the first year of the War of Independence. The same flag was also used by the Society Of Friends [The Society]. Two more flags were also flying on the island: the flag of K. Lahanas {Λαχανάς} in Vathi {Βαθύ} and the flag of L. Logothetis {Λογοθέτης} in Karlovasi {Καρλόβασι}.
