Soccer Pool Coupons (PROPO) {ΠΡΟγνωστικά ΠΟδοσφαίρου (ΠΡΟΠΟ)}, one of the most popular games of the Greek Soccer Pools Organization, are nowadays computerized. All possible forecast combinations are already formed on the coupon and all you have to do is to mark your selections and take the coupon to a Commissioned Betting Shop, where an optical reader will process it.
However, in 1995 the coupon was completely different. Each entry cost 30 drachmas (€0.09c) [Price Rounding And Overcharging] and your forecasts had to be hand-written. You then had to take the coupon to a Commissioned Betting Shop, where the Commissioned Agent would check it for possible mistakes, seal it and stick a special ribbon on it, thus confirming its validity.
Each coupon contains 13 soccer matches and one bonus match which is called Super 13. For each of the 14 matches you may select the "1" if you believe that the host team will win the game, the "2" if you believe that the guest team will win the game, or the "X" if you believe that the match will end in a tie. Winning entries are those those with any 11, 12, 13, or 13+Super 13 forecasts that match the final soccer match results that are contained in the coupon.
There are three soccer pool coupons. One regular on Sundays called Sunday Regular Coupon {Taktikos Diagonismos Kiriakis ~ Τακτικός Διαγωνισμός Κυριακής}, one extra on Saturdays called Saturday Extra Coupon {Ektaktos Diagonismos Savvatou ~ Έκτακτος Διαγωνισμός Σαββάτου} and another extra one on Wednesdays called Wednesday Extra Coupon {Ektaktos Diagonismos Tetartis ~ Έκτακτος Διαγωνισμός Τετάρτης}.
We would also like to remind you that the Super 13 match was introduced on August 31st, 1997, for the regular coupons and on September 6th, 1997, for the extra coupons.
