History

Back to where you came from. The same text in Greek.

The State-run National Lottery Ticket {Ethniko Lahio ~ Εθνικό Λαχείο} was established in 1937.

The tickets are issued in Editions and enter a pattern of successive draws that last four months. The first four successive draws (A, B, G and D {Α, Β, Γ and Δ}) hold two draws each, the fifth (E) successive draw holds five draws and the sixth (ST {ΣΤ}) successive draw holds 22 draws.

Ticket owners must renew their ticket before each successive draw. Each draw has a separate payoff which increases gradually until the end of the draws for the Edition. Winning tickets are those whose number is included in the range of the numbers drawn.
